SENIOR BUYER (in S. WI)

<p><strong>We are looking to fill a full time Senior Buyer position with a manufacturer located in the general area of Monroe, WI.<br></strong></p><p><strong>Salary Range: $75k to $80k DOE. Relocation assistance is available.<br></strong></p><p><strong>Position Overview:<br></strong></p><p>Under the supervision of the Controller: sources, negotiates, buys, and expedites raw material, maintenance parts, shop supplies, capital improvements and all other non-essential supplies at the lowest possible cost consistent with accepted standards of quality and service within established time frames.<br></p><p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities:<br></strong></p><p>· Source and procure raw materials, shop supplies and maintenance parts necessary for production, considering price, quality and delivery.<br></p><p>· Enter in all purchase orders into the Odyssey system.<br></p><p>· Receive all incoming material into the Odyssey system.<br></p><p>· Maintain Capital projects folders.<br></p><p>· Work with the Quality department on new materials to be sampled, sample paperwork is on file in the purchasing department.<br></p><p>· Maintain all IATF files pertaining to the purchasing department, supplier surveys, supplier certifications, on time deliveries.<br></p><p>· Work with corporate purchasing on new suppliers and new part number entries.<br></p><p>· Report to the corporate purchasing department on monthly cost savings.<br></p><p>· Enter all month end inventories into the system for all departments, turn in a monthly scrap report to corporate, along with copies of invoices for surcharges on raw materials.<br></p><p>· Maintain relationships with supply base.<br></p><p>· Helps with 5S Auditing, monthly LPA audit and EHS observations/weekly audit.<br></p><p>· Additional duties may be required.<br><br><br><br></p>
