<p><strong>The Mission</strong></p> <p>As a Senior Counsel at Panther and our first legal hire, you will be the point of contact for all legal functions. You will have a broad range of responsibilities, including drafting and negotiating complex customer and vendor contracts, serving as an entrusted leader to internal stakeholders, and building out our legal framework. We believe that by building a diverse group of remote individuals, we can push forward our mission and create a rewarding, inclusive, and fun work environment for our entire team.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong><span class="notion-enable-hover" data-token-index="0">What you’ll Do:</span></strong></p> <ul> <li>Review, examine, draft, and negotiate contracts with customers and vendors.</li> <li>Manage the company’s various legal functions (such as privacy, intellectual property, and employment law).</li> <li>Define the company’s legal strategy to set up success across the organization.</li> <li>Manage our external law firms and be the internal point of contact for legal.</li> <li>Work cross-functionally with sales, finance, HR, international operations, and others to ensure compliance with relevant laws and company policies.</li> <li>Ensure we are operationally efficient and effective in negotiating and managing contracts across the organization</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong><span class="notion-enable-hover" data-token-index="0">What You’ll Bring:</span></strong></p> <ul> <li>J.D. with bar admission in good standing from any state across the U.S.</li> <li>5+ years of total experience, including at least 3+ years in-house.</li> <li>Experience managing the legal function for a growth-stage company.</li> <li>Significant experience negotiating customer and vendor agreements at a B2B SaaS/technology company.</li> <li>Demonstrated practical, business-oriented approach to balancing legal/contractual issues with business risk.</li> <li>Experience overseeing a broad range of legal subject matter, including but not limited to corporate governance, commercial law, & data privacy.</li> <li>Proven and excellent analytic, communication, and contract drafting skills.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong><span class="discussion-level-1 discussion-id-2560a5bb-da41-80eb-beff-001c9783826b notion-enable-hover" data-token-index="1">We believe in transparency throughout our process — including how we approach AI.</span></strong></p> <p>We recognize that AI tools can enhance productivity and support high-quality work. In addition to cash compensation, all full-time Pantherinos are eligible to participate in our equity plan to receive Incentive Stock Options (ISO).
