It serves as the central coordinator across internal and external partners, driving planning, execution, standardization and continuous improvement, ultimately improving top line growth and bottom-line profit.</p> <p> <strong>MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p> <ul> <li>End-to-End Project Management: Lead all phases of buildout/construction projects including new builds, relocations, remodels, refreshes and closures from planning through completion</li> <li>Scope Development & Planning<strong>:</strong> Define and recommend project scope, including construction elements, infrastructure and facility requirements</li> <li>Budgeting & Financial Oversight: Develop cost estimates, secure funding approvals, track project spending and provide ongoing reporting to leadership</li> <li>Vendor Management: Coordinate with procurement to source, contract, and manage vendors; oversee bidding, negotiations, change orders, invoicing and payments</li> <li>Timeline & Schedule Management: Create, maintain and communicate project schedules while coordinating dependencies across internal and external partners</li> <li>Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with departments such as Operations, IT, Marketing, Legal, Real Estate and Facilities to align project execution with business needs</li> <li>Execution & Site Coordination: Oversee and action detailed execution activities including design coordination, site walkthroughs, construction progress, installation of equipment and fixtures and ensure systems readiness</li> <li>Relocation & Operational Readiness: Plan and execute site relocations and setups, including logistics, equipment moves, room configurations and ensure operational readiness</li> <li>Risk Management & Issue Resolution: Identify potential risks, escalate issues and implement mitigation strategies to minimize impacts on project scope, schedule and budget</li> <li>Documentation & Continuous Improvement: Maintain and enhance project standards, tools and documentation (budgets, timelines, design standards, supplies lists), while contributing to process improvements</li> <li>Strategic Planning Support: Gather and analyze site data and project insights to support long-term planning and decision-making for future projects</li> <li>Ad Hoc Support: Assist with additional initiatives and special projects related to construction and facilities, as needed</li> </ul> <p> <strong>BASIC QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience</li> <li>Minimum of 5-7 years of direct experience leading construction projects in a matrixed organization</li> <li>Strong working knowledge of healthcare clinics and/or optical retail environments. Strong verbal, written, listening and presentation skills. Skilled in crafting clear, actionable communications</li> <li>Ability to influence and negotiate across multiple organizational levels. Able to work in ambiguity using critical thinking to provide innovative solutions and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Planner), and project management software</li> <li>Travel up to 25% depending on status of projects</li> </ul> <p><strong> </strong><strong>PREFFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p> <ul> <li>Prior experience in a fast-paced environment overseeing 1-2 major projects and 2-3 smaller initiatives simultaneously</li> <li>Prior experience with multi-site clinics or business units</li> <li>Prior experience with point-of-sales and business software systems</li> <li>Advanced knowledge of Project Management software / tool(s)</li> </ul><p>This posting is for an existing vacancy within our business. Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
