This role will work across mobile application development, augmented reality, geolocation, video streaming, and integration with cloud-based platform services.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Compensation</strong></p><p><strong>$150k - $250k per year</strong></p><p>Compensation will be based on experience, location, and qualifications. BluJuniper offers competitive compensation and benefits for eligible employees.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>About the Role</strong></p><p>As a Senior Mobile Developer, you will design and implement mobile application features that support real-time, location-aware, and media-rich user experiences. You will work across mobile clients, backend APIs, and advanced AR technology. </p><p><br></p><p>This role is ideal for an engineer with strong mobile development experience who is comfortable building production applications for iOS and Android. Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform, Swift, AR technology, ARKit/ARCore, geolocation, and video streaming is strongly preferred.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Design and develop mobile application features for iOS and Android. </li><li>Build mobile capabilities involving AR technology, geolocation, camera access, mapping, video streaming, and real-time user workflows.</li><li>Develop mobile applications using Swift, Kotlin, Kotlin Multiplatform, ARKit/ARCore.</li><li>Integrate mobile clients with secure backend APIs, authentication services, and cloud-based platform capabilities.</li><li>Support mobile workflows involving user onboarding, permissions, role-based access, and secure data access.</li><li>Work with backend, AI/ML, computer vision, product, infrastructure, and security teams to integrate mobile features into the broader platform.</li><li>Improve mobile application performance, reliability, usability, and debuggability across production environments.</li><li>Help evaluate mobile architecture decisions and technical tradeoffs as the platform evolves.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>5+ years of professional mobile, software, or application engineering experience.</li><li>Experience building production mobile applications for iOS, Android, or cross-platform mobile environments.</li><li>Experience with Swift, Kotlin, Kotlin Multiplatform, ARKit/ARCore. </li><li>Experience integrating mobile applications with backend APIs, authentication systems, databases, or cloud services.</li><li>Experience with geolocation, device sensors, camera functionality, video workflows, or similar mobile platform capabilities.</li><li>Strong understanding of mobile performance, reliability, networking, offline behavior, and user experience tradeoffs.</li><li>Strong debugging, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Hands-on experience with Kotlin Multiplatform and Swift.</li><li>Experience with ARKit, ARCore, mobile AR frameworks, spatial interfaces, or location-aware mobile experiences.</li><li>Experience with real-time video streaming, WebRTC, LiveKit, media pipelines, or low-latency mobile communication systems.</li><li>Experience with geospatial applications, navigation workflows, mapping, localization, or 3D environments.</li><li>Experience with secure mobile development, enterprise authentication, role-based access, or customer onboarding workflows.</li><li>Experience working in regulated, government, defense, or enterprise security environments.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>What Success Looks Like</strong></p><p>In this role, success means you can deliver mobile features that are reliable, intuitive, and technically sound.
