Shipping and Receiving Coordinator- Manufacturing

Connect Staffing is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator for an air compressor and electrical generator assembly facility in Henderson, NV. This is a temp-to-hire position paying $20/hr on a Monday–Friday day shift. In this role, you will pick, pack, and ship outbound orders and receive inbound deliveries using ERP and WMS systems in a manufacturing plant environment. Weekly overtime of approximately one hour per week is expected.

Schedule:Mon–Fri, 7:00 AM–3:45 PM

Responsibilities

  • Pick, pack, and ship outbound transfer orders and component sales orders using ERP and WMS systems in a manufacturing plant environment.
  • Receive and check in inbound deliveries, verifying that all shipments are correctly documented in the ERP system.
  • Conduct physical verification of received goods, flag discrepancies or damages, and provide labeling information to inventory and operations teams.
  • Coordinate with production, planning, and inventory teams to align shipments and resolve discrepancies in real time.
  • Assist with put-away of inbound inventory, placing items in designated warehouse locations.
  • Support documentation and tracking for all outbound inventory activities using Excel.

Minimum Requirements

  • 1+ year of shipping and receiving, warehouse, or inventory experience.
  • Ability to use ERP systems, WMS systems, and Excel to track inventory and compile reports.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with outbound order processing, including pick, pack, and ship workflows.
  • Experience processing LTL freight through carrier portals such as UPS Freight, XPO, or Estes.
  • Familiarity with inbound receiving processes — verifying shipments, logging discrepancies, and labeling.
  • Experience with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Familiarity with WMS platforms such as Manhattan, Fishbowl, or Infor WMS.
  • Background in manufacturing, assembly, or industrial distribution environments.
  • Forklift certification (sit-down).
