Job Description

Alicat Scientific, Inc. is looking for a top performing Shipping Agent to inspect, validate, pack and prepare devices to ship. The Agent will also create international conformity shipping documents in a fast-paced production line at our Marana, Arizona facility. Duties of the Shipping Agent include verifying devices against the packing list, high value packing techniques, preparing international shipping documents with experience filing ACE requirements. Preparing COO's, COC's and customs documents according to origin and destination requirements.

The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in international shipping processes and procedures, have high quality standards, thrive in a team environment and enjoy a competitively paced work environment. If you have previous experience within a production, manufacturing or technical facility, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, a successful Shipping Agent will prepare, pack and ship scientific instruments that impact industries from healthcare to aerospace.

Responsibilities

  • Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and inspect for damage.
  • Pick and pack orders accurately for shipment, ensuring all items are correctly labeled.
  • Maintain an organized workspace and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Assist in inventory management by conducting regular stock counts and reporting discrepancies.
  • Prepare COC, COO and international regulation shipping requirements.
  • Understand and prepare ACE required documentation.
  • Prepare, pack and ship with a high-volume production queue.
  • Imperative quality standards and ethics.

Core Competencies

  • Experienced shipping within a production facility.
  • Familiarity packing techniques.
  • International shipping platforms: DHL, UPS, and Fedex.
  • Experience with COO, COC and ACE documentation
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
