The engineering team at Exoscale works on all aspects from designing & developing products, to their operation and support.<br></div><div><br></div><div>With an expanding customer base and new products to further advance Exoscale's product portfolio, site reliability engineers build and maintain a wide range of technologies. As users of Exoscale itself, site reliability engineers also take active part in improving products.<br></div><div><br></div><div>This position focuses on designing, developing and maintaining Exoscale's core platform and security components.<br></div><div><b><br></b></div><div><b>Some of the challenges you will be working on:</b><br></div><ul><li><span>Design and maintain our core Linux-based platform ecosystem.<br></span></li><li><span>Develop and manage our PKI, secrets management, and security systems.<br></span></li><li><span>Contribute to internal platform tooling, automation, and orchestration development.<br></span></li><li><span>Enhance the developer experience (DX) by delivering self-service systems and pipelines.<br></span></li><li><span>Play a key role in the architecture and design of Exoscale’s platform systems.<br></span></li><li><span>Improve processes to ensure scalability, security, and high availability.<br></span></li><li><span>Participate in code and change reviews to maintain high development standards.<br></span></li><li><span>Join the on-call rotation after completing a training period.<br></span></li></ul><div><br></div><div><b>Ideal candidates are:</b><br></div><ul><li><span>Experienced with Linux, including networking and security filtering.<br></span></li><li><span>Knowledgeable in platform security components and PKI systems (experience with HashiCorp Vault is a plus).<br></span></li><li><span>Proficient in Golang (mandatory for this position).<br></span></li><li><span>Familiar with service discovery and DNS systems at scale.<br></span></li><li><span>Experienced in containerization and orchestration (Kubernetes is a plus).<br></span></li><li><span>Comfortable working with KVM virtualization.<br></span></li><li><span>Skilled in configuration management and large-scale infrastructure.<br></span></li><li><span>Passionate about automation.
