The Bronx Telehealth Counseling Center (BTCC) is a college-affiliated training clinic dedicated to providing accessible, high-quality mental health services to the community while training the next generation of counselors. Position Overview

The Bronx Telehealth Counseling Center (BTCC), a college-based community mental health clinic, is seeking a qualified and New York State licensed Site Supervisor to provide clinical supervision to graduate-level counseling trainees. This position is ideal for a licensed clinician who is passionate about mentoring emerging counselors and serving diverse, underserved populations predominantly through telehealth. This is a remote position and the Site Supervisor must be licensed in New York State.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individual clinical supervision to master’s-level counseling trainees(estimated time required is approximately 2.5hrs/trainee/week)
  • Ensure supervisees deliver ethical, culturally responsive, and evidence-based care
  • Review clinical documentation (e.g., intake assessments, treatment plans,progress notes)
  • Support trainees in case conceptualization, treatment planning, and use of clinicalinterventions
  • Monitor client risk and provide guidance on crisis management when needed
  • Collaborate with Clinic Director and administrative staff to maintain clinicoperations and standards
  • Uphold all legal, ethical, and professional guidelines (e.g., confidentiality,mandated reporting)
  • Provide evaluative feedback on trainee performance and communicate regularlywith the faculty supervisor
  • Attend a weekly Supervisors' meeting with Clinic Director, Administrator andclinical supervisors.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree required.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

  • Active, unrestricted licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
  • Masters in Mental Health Counseling
  • Minimum of 2–3 years post-licensure clinical experience
  • Prior experience providing clinical supervision
  • Experience working with diverse and underserved populations
  • Familiarity with telehealth platforms and practices
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Commitment to anti-racist, anti-oppressive, and culturally responsive clinical practice
  • In line with ethical practice and training standards, the BTCC will actively screen supervisors to avoid dual relationships between clinical trainees and clinical supervisors.

COMPENSATION

  • Hourly rate ($51.94 - $64.63/hr. commensurate with experience)
  • Flexible scheduling
