SQA Analyst II

<p>We’re hiring an <b>SQA Analyst II</b> at BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee.</p><p></p><p>Our ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of healthcare data exchange standards and be comfortable navigating complex API integrations, ensuring integration and seamless communication across platforms.</p><p></p><p>To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:</p><p></p><ul><li>Hands-on <b>FHIR testing experience</b> (including validation tools)</li><li>Experience troubleshooting <b>interoperability challenges</b></li><li>Experience validating API endpoints for accuracy (and using <b>Rest Assured for API testing</b>)</li><li>Experience with <b>Selenium (Java)</b> for UI automation</li><li>Experience writing <b>SQL queries</b> for database validations</li></ul><p></p><p>Bonus points if you have experience leveraging <b>GitHub Copilot or</b> other AI-powered developer tools.</p><p></p><p><span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;"> Note:   </span></p><ul><li>Sponsorship is not available for this role.</li><li>This role will require an onsite interview at our Chattanooga, TN headquarters.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Job Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li><span>Intermediate proficiency in testing strategy document preparation, developing test plans, use of relevant toolsets and defect lifecycle management.</span></li><li><span>Aligns with and applies BCBST QA best practices to ensure adherence to the policies and procedures.</span></li><li><span>Creating and executing test scripts for functional, automation and/or performance testing, and deriving testing requirements from functional/business requirements.</span></li><li><span>Review technical design documents and develop E2E integration test scenarios to verify/validate the impacted components, interfaces and systems.</span></li><li><span>Identify and create test data, build, and execute services/API validation scripts to ensure the quality of applications delivered by utilizing relevant toolsets.</span></li><li><span>Document and communicate test status, results at the individual level. Assists in resolving the issues identified by team members.</span></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Job Qualifications</b></p><p></p><p><i>Education</i></p><ul><li><p><span>Bachelor's degree in information technology/software engineering or relevant work experience in software industry or equivalent work experience required.
