SQL Server DBA Data Warehouse Technical Lead

<p>SQL Server DBA Data Warehouse Technical Lead for Mauser Packaging Solutions Holding Company. May work remotely, report to the Information Technology hub in our regional location in Atlanta, GA. </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Install, config, monitor & tune SQL Server databases [DBs].</li> <li>Minimize production downtime & ensure optimal DB ops.</li> <li>Liaise with Power BI dev community to build, enhance & maintain tables & data views to support end user reports.</li> <li>For DB environment, develop & maintain back-up strategy (aligned with Disaster Recovery reqs). </li> <li>Ensure DB standards & configs to support Mauser Security standards. </li> <li>Daily production support: monitor & action incidents / requests in ServiceNow queue. </li> <li>Provide tech thought leadership in development of Global data warehouse environment. </li> <li>Liaise with IT resources to implement optimized solution. </li> <li>Interact with business & tech functions for high level of responsiveness.</li> <li>Interact with business users, using effective and collaborative communication skills. </li> <li>Use all rel tech tools & processes. </li> <li>May undergo background checks including drug screen. </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Must have Bachelors in Comp Sci or related field and 5 yrs relevant exp in IT and required skills (4 years exp); or </li> <li>Master in Comp Sci or related field and 2 yrs rel exp in IT and required skills (2 years exp). </li> <li>Requires skills: in analytics and systems development; teamwork; SQL technologies; Power BI; Azure; ETL Processing; complex data structures; creating and validating data, datasets and dashboards; ITIL, Project Management and Development methodologies; and MS productivity toolset.
