You’ll work closely with engineering teams and business stakeholders to evaluate existing systems, define future-state architecture, and lead data transformation efforts across complex environments.</p> <p>This role combines strategic architecture planning with hands-on technical expertise to ensure data platforms are scalable, secure, maintainable, and optimized for long-term growth. You’ll play a key role in shaping enterprise data strategy and establishing best practices across data ecosystems.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong>:</p> <ul> <li>Design and maintain enterprise data architecture strategies and scalable data solutions</li> <li>Lead architecture discussions with technical teams and business stakeholders</li> <li>Evaluate existing systems and recommend modernization opportunities</li> <li>Design logical and physical data models to support operational and analytical use cases</li> <li>Lead data integration, transformation, and interoperability initiatives</li> <li>Define standards and best practices for data management, governance, and architecture</li> <li>Support enterprise data lake, warehouse, and reporting initiatives</li> <li>Develop and maintain architecture documentation, diagrams, and technical standards</li> <li>Ensure solutions align with security, scalability, and performance requirements</li> <li>Collaborate with engineering teams on implementation and delivery strategies</li> <li>Support data lifecycle management and long-term maintainability</li> <li>Mentor technical teams and provide architecture guidance</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field</li> <li>10+ years of experience in data architecture, solution architecture, or enterprise data management</li> <li>Experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale data solutions</li> <li>Strong understanding of data architecture principles and design methodologies</li> <li>Experience with data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data integration strategies</li> <li>Experience with enterprise data platforms and analytics ecosystems</li> <li>Knowledge of data governance and data lifecycle best practices</li> <li>Strong communication and stakeholder management skills</li> <li>Experience supporting cross-functional technical initiatives</li> <li>Hands-on experience architecting and delivering solutions within Databricks environments</li> <li>Demonstrated expertise with Databricks Lakehouse architecture, workflows, and enterprise-scale implementation strategies</li> <li>Eligibility to meet federal contracting and client-specific work authorization requirements is required. Due to project requirements, candidates must be U.S. Citizens or U.S. Permanent Residents (Green Card holders).</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience with AWS and cloud-native data architecture</li> <li>Experience with data lakes, warehouses, and distributed data systems</li> <li>Familiarity with advanced analytics or machine learning environments</li> <li>Experience supporting enterprise modernization initiatives</li> <li>Experience with architecture frameworks and documentation tools</li> </ul> <p><strong>Salary Range</strong></p> <p>At Blueprint, we strive to offer competitive pay that reflects the value of our team members. Compensation for this role is influenced by a variety of factors, including skills, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographic market.</p> <p>For candidates based in Washington State, the anticipated salary range is <strong>$165,900 to $200,000 annually</strong>. Please note that we typically do not hire new employees at the top of the posted range. Actual starting pay will be determined based on experience, skills, and internal equity.
