Sr. Events Manager

About the Role:

The GoodRx B2B Marketing team seeks a Sr. Events Manager to plan, execute, and manage event logistics for the GoodRx presence at industry conferences, trade shows, and select internal meetings—approximately 9-12 small/medium conferences per year across the pharmaceutical manufacturer, retail pharmacy, employer/payer, and health information technology market segments. Reporting to the Sr. Director of B2B Marketing, this role will work cross-functionally as the lead for events to define and manage the presence, sponsorships, budgets, and vendors, and to plan and execute logistics to drive commercial value for the business.


Responsibilities:


Logistics Management

  • Provide end-to-end planning, management, and logistical execution

  • Create workback schedules and execute logistics to plan

  • Serve as onsite and ongoing point of contact and marketing lead for all aspects of conference and trade show presence

  • Manage attendees at all levels, from executive leadership and sales staff to clients and VIPs, including accommodations, registrations, and AV needs

  • Manage sponsorship packages and coordinate timely creation of signage, advertising and collateral with content leads

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive storytelling and experience design across all touchpoints

  • Plan and manage ancillary events such as dinners, receptions, and client entertainment as components of industry conference presence

  • Develop activations to drive booth traffic and meaningful commercial touchpoints

  • Coordinate and support lead retrieval with growth marketing colleagues; manage or support webinars

  • Prepare pre-event communications and host pre-meeting/team orientations

  • Oversee booth load-in, set-up, and tear down with exhibit vendor


Operations

  • Manage master events calendar across B2B market segments

  • Create and maintain event playbooks, "Know Before You Go" documentation, and event guidelines to ensure consistent, high-quality execution across all events

  • Maintain comprehensive event trackers and project plans to keep cross-functional stakeholders aligned and informed

  • Oversee branded merchandise creation, warehousing, and deployment

  • Develop turn-key presence and streamlined deployment for smaller shows


Budgeting and Financial Management

  • Create detailed budgets and manage events to plan

  • Track expenses and manage investments to drive ROI

  • Manage vendors and develop, review, and negotiate SOWs to support business objectives


Goals, Metrics, Reporting

  • Establish show goals and metrics and work cross-functionally to communicate and measure performance

  • Provide clear, concise, and timely communication to internal teams, senior leadership, and external stakeholders

  • Create post-event reports with results and optimization recommendations


Skills & Qualifications:

  • Exceptional organization and project management skills; proven ability to drive projects independently and proactively

  • Excellent communication skills and professionalism

  • Focus on commercial value creation and measurable ROI

  • Strong leadership and people management skills

  • 7-10 years of event management experience for B2B conferences and trade shows

  • 5-10 years leading events cross-functionally

  • 5-10 years developing, managing, and reporting budget

  • 1-2 years people management experience

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Travel required – 30-50%

The pay ranges below are shown as a guideline, and the successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, and other relevant business and organizational factors. $121,000.00 - $193,000.00

New York Office:

$111,000.00 - $177,000.00

Santa Monica Office:

$101,000.00 - $161,000.00

Other Office Locations:

$91,000.00 - $145,000.00
