Sr. Marketing Manager - Anytime Fitness

Purpose Brands, the parent company of Orangetheory, Anytime Fitness, Waxing the City and The Bar Method, is seeking a Sr. Marketing Manager to join its Anytime Fitness team. The Sr Marketing Manager leads two core capabilities for the Anytime Fitness brand team: supporting the activation and scaling of our strategic partnerships and developing the local marketing capability for the U.S. business while extending best practices and resources to the global system. Reporting to the VP, Global Marketing, this role owns partnership activation from strategy through execution in the U.S., and builds the playbooks, tools, and field support that enable clubs and franchisees to market effectively in their local markets — equipping international master franchisees with the same resources and best practices. The role ensures programs are aligned to broader business priorities and delivered with speed, clarity, and measurable impact. It is both strategic and hands-on, requiring a marketer who can shape direction and actively drive work forward across a matrixed organization. This role partners closely with operations, analytics, shared services, and cross-functional marketing teams to develop scalable programs that support both the U.S. business and international master franchisees. Purpose/Impact: (Duties & Essential Functions) Primary Responsibilities Partnership Support & Activation • Support the activation and scaling of strategic partnerships that strengthen the Anytime Fitness value proposition • Translate partnership strategy into actionable U.S. launch plans, sequencing, and activation roadmaps • Ensure partnerships are consistently integrated into the consumer and member experience across touchpoints Local Marketing Capability • Lead the brand team's local marketing capability for the Anytime Fitness system, including: o Playbooks and enablement resources that equip clubs and franchisees to execute locally o Field marketing support that helps clubs translate brand initiatives into local activation o Local marketing fund oversight and self-serve tools that scale local execution • Partner with operations and franchise support to ensure local marketing programs are practical, adoptable, and measurable • Identify opportunities to strengthen local marketing performance and share what's working across the system Program Development & Scaling • Develop scalable frameworks, playbooks, and launch guidance for partnership activations and local marketing programs • Build resources in-market with U.S. clubs and adapt them so international master franchisees can apply the same best practices locally • Support implementation of core brand programs across the Anytime Fitness system Driving Execution • Actively drive work forward, not just define direction • Operate with speed, clarity, and accountability • Manage timelines, stakeholders, and execution against priorities Cross-Functional Leadership • Partner closely with Marketing Center of Excellence teams, including: o Growth Marketing o Consumer Insights o Creative & Content (Brand Lab) • Collaborate with operations and franchise support teams to ensure initiatives are executable and operationally aligned • Build strong relationships across internal teams and external partners Performance & Optimization • Evaluate the effectiveness of partnership activations and local marketing programs • Identify opportunities to improve engagement, adoption, and business impact at both the brand and club level • Apply learnings and insights to future rollouts and local marketing activations globally Background Required • 5–8+ years of experience in brand marketing, with exposure to local, field, or franchisee-facing marketing • Proven ability to lead brand initiatives from strategy through rollout and scaling • Strong understanding of consumer marketing and go-to-market activation • Ability to operate at both strategic and hands-on levels • Experience working cross-functionally in a matrixed organization • Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills Preferred • Experience in franchise, multi-location, or distributed business models • Background in fitness, wellness, or consumer services • Experience building local marketing playbooks, co-op programs, or field marketing capabilities • Experience supporting or activating partnership programs at scale Strengths • Strategic and hands-on — can develop ideas and drive execution • Growth-oriented thinker — understands how brand initiatives and local execution drive business impact • Operator mindset — pushes work forward and solves problems • Strong collaborator across functions and stakeholders • Bias toward action, testing, and learning Salary Range: $110k-120k What’s in it for you?
