Sr Supply Chain Analyst / SAP IBP Business Process Owner

<p>Job Summary:</p><p>The SAP IBP Business Process Owner serves as the primary business superuser and functional expert responsible for SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) across the enterprise. This role ensures SAP IBP effectively supports end-to-end supply chain planning processes including demand, supply, inventory, and S&OP planning. The position partners closely with IT and cross-functional supply chain teams to translate business requirements into system capabilities, drive process standardization, and improve planning performance and adoption.</p><h2><span><b>Key Responsibilities</b></span></h2><h3><span><b>SAP IBP Ownership & Functional Leadership</b></span></h3><ul><li>Serve as business superuser and functional lead for SAP IBP (Demand, Supply, Inventory, S&OP, Control Tower, Scenario Planning).</li><li>Translate business needs into functional requirements, system design inputs, testing scenarios, and enhancement requests.</li><li>Ensure SAP IBP configuration, master data, planning views, key figures, and dashboards align with business requirements.</li><li>Act as first escalation point for SAP IBP planning and system issues.</li></ul><h3><span><b>Planning Process Management</b></span></h3><ul><li>Support and improve integrated planning processes including demand planning, supply planning, inventory planning, and S&OP.</li><li>Drive standardization of planning processes across regions, products, and supply chain sites.</li><li>Define planning governance, calendars, review cycles, and exception management processes.</li><li>Partner cross-functionally to improve visibility, alignment, and decision-making.</li></ul><h3><span><b>System Enhancements & Continuous Improvement</b></span></h3><ul><li>Maintain SAP IBP enhancement pipeline based on business value and user feedback.</li><li>Lead requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, and user story development.</li><li>Partner with IT and SAP teams on system enhancements, integrations, and roadmap initiatives.</li><li>Improve forecasting accuracy, service levels, inventory optimization, and planning efficiency.</li></ul><h3><span><b>Testing, Training & Adoption</b></span></h3><ul><li>Lead UAT for SAP IBP releases, enhancements, and system changes.</li><li>Develop training materials, process documentation, and user guides.</li><li>Train planners and cross-functional users on SAP IBP functionality and planning best practices.</li><li>Establish and support a superuser network to drive adoption and issue resolution.</li></ul><h3><span><b>Data, Reporting & Governance</b></span></h3><ul><li>Ensure accuracy and integrity of SAP IBP master data and planning inputs.</li><li>Monitor and resolve data quality issues impacting forecasts, supply plans, and reporting.</li><li>Support development of dashboards, KPIs, alerts, and planning analytics.</li><li>Define governance standards for data, planning assumptions, and system changes.</li></ul><h2><span><b>Qualifications</b></span></h2><h3><span><b>Experience</b></span></h3><ul><li>3+ years of SAP IBP experience as a superuser, functional lead, or business system owner.</li><li>Experience with SAP IBP implementation, enhancement, or support activities.</li><li>Experience working cross-functionally with Supply Chain, IT, Finance, and Operations teams.</li></ul><h3><span><b>SAP & Technical Skills</b></span></h3><ul><li>Strong knowledge of SAP IBP modules: Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Optimization, S&OP, Control Tower, Scenario Planning.</li><li>Understanding of SAP IBP architecture including planning areas, key figures, master data, and planning versions.</li><li>Experience integrating SAP IBP with SAP ECC or S/4HANA preferred.</li><li>Strong Excel skills;
