Staff Nurse

As a Staff Nurse at Novant Health within our Healthcare & Medical Services department, you will play a central role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care across diverse patient populations. You will provide direct nursing care using evidence-based practices, advanced technology, and a compassionate, person-focused approach that aligns with Novant Health’s mission of improving health. Working within a multidisciplinary team of physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, and other clinical professionals, you will assess patient needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, administer medications and treatments, and continuously evaluate patient responses to ensure safe and effective outcomes.

In this role, you will perform comprehensive patient assessments, monitor vital signs and clinical status, and use sound clinical judgment to identify changes in condition and escalate concerns appropriately. You will coordinate care across the continuum, support safe transitions, and actively engage patients and families in care planning through clear communication and education tailored to their needs, literacy level, and cultural background. You will accurately document all aspects of care in the electronic health record, following hospital policies, regulatory standards, and best practices for patient safety and confidentiality.
