Job Posting Title Strategic Initiatives VP - RemoteJob Description The Strategic Initiatives VP will be responsible to lead efforts in identifying and capitalizing on early-stage industry trends, ensuring Prime remains at the forefront of market innovation. Operating with a Fail Fast and Lean Start-up approach, this role will drive the ideation process, evaluate emerging market opportunities with key internal and external stakeholders, and structure pilots to validate and refine solutions for market readiness. Responsibilities • Continuously monitor and analyze market dynamics and future trends through both internal and external sources in the health, pharma, and PBM markets to identify strategic opportunities. • Collaborate with a cross-functional team, including subject matter experts (SMEs), to assess ideas and trends, develop structured forecasts of future scenarios, and facilitate consensus on points of view (POVs). • Develop strategic positions and business cases to determine whether to (a) take no action, (b) monitor and watch for specific inflection points, or (c) develop and implement a solution. • Design, develop, and conduct pilot programs in coordination with IT, Operations, and other functional areas to validate innovative solutions and refine them for market launch. • Develop persuasive points of view (POVs) and PowerPoint presentations that drive strategic actions and decisions. • Present findings and recommendations to both internal and external client and owner audiences, effectively communicating complex ideas in a clear and impactful manner. • Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, health administration, marketing, or related fields or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience • 12 years of work experience in health care with specific experience in pharmacy from one or more of the areas of retail pharmacy, specialty, health plan pharmacy, PBM, wholesaler, and/or pharma • Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship Additional Qualifications • Experience in innovation strategy, market analysis, and trend evaluation. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically. • Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to disseminate complex material for a variety of audiences at all levels of enterprise and key external partners and clients • Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional initiatives • Experience with Lean Start-up methodologies and Fail Fast approaches Preferred Qualifications • Master’s degree in business (MBA) or health administration (MHA) or related area of study • People leadership experience • PBM experience • Management consulting experience • Clinical knowledge or degree Every employee must understand, comply with and attest to the security responsibilities and security controls unique to their job, and comply with all applicable legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements and internal policies and procedures Every employee must be able to perform the essential functions of the job and, if requested, reasonable accommodations will be made to enable employees with disabilities to perform the essential functions, absent undue hardship.
