About Our Company and the Role Our client in San Francisco is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead comprehensive assessments, develop strategic plans, and implement changes that drive results. With a strong focus on innovation and collaboration, you'll be working with a talented team to streamline supply chain operations, enhance visibility, and mitigate risks. As a key member of the team, you'll be responsible for analyzing data, identifying trends, and making data-driven recommendations to drive business growth. Key Responsibilities • Conduct comprehensive assessments of procurement processes, donation management, financial management, inventory management, information management, logistics and distribution, risk management, performance measurement, compliance, and governance. • Analyze data, metrics, and stakeholder feedback to identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency improvement, and develop strategies to achieve these goals. • Develop and execute plans to streamline supply chain processes, enhance visibility, and mitigate risks while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and ethical standards. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes, including system enhancements, process redesign, and training initiatives. • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the effectiveness and efficiency of supply chain operations and track progress towards organizational goals. • Create regular reports for review and discussion on performance, and provide updates on improvement initiatives and project milestones. • Apply knowledge of supply chain best practices and industry standards to drive innovation and improvement. • Utilize strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations. • Lead cross-functional teams and drive results in a dynamic environment, engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Essential Qualifications and Skills To succeed in this role, you'll need • A minimum of 10 years of experience in a relevant role, such as Supply Chain Manager or similar position, with a proven track record of driving supply chain optimization and improvement. • Proficiency in supply chain risk management, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks that could interfere with the smooth functioning of the supply chain. • A strong understanding of supply chain management and supply management principles, with the ability to apply these principles in a practical setting. • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing supply chain strategies that improve efficiency and reduce costs. • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards meeting organizational goals. • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions based on data analysis. • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to foster positive relationships with suppliers and stakeholders. • Proficiency in using supply chain management software and other relevant computer applications. • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve supply chain issues in a timely and effective manner. • A high level of organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
