Team Leader

We are looking for a driven and hands-on individual to join us as a Packaging Shift Leader in our Packaging Operations team. In this role, you will lead a shift team to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality packaging line operations. You will play a critical role in driving performance, developing your team, and delivering operational excellence in line with our standards.

What you’ll be doing

  • Own packaging line performance by ensuring smooth operations during your shift, meeting productivity, quality, cost, and safety targets.
  • Lead and develop your shift team through effective resource planning, coaching, training, and performance management to build a high-performing workforce.
  • Drive operational excellence by monitoring key performance indicators (Overall Equipment Effectiveness, downtime, waste) and translating insights into actionable improvements.
  • Ensure product quality and food safety by adhering to standards such as HACCP, GMP, and company compliance guidelines throughout the packaging process.
  • Coordinate daily operations including production scheduling, materials management, and system updates (e.g., Manufacturing Execution System) to ensure seamless execution.
  • Champion continuous improvement by identifying opportunities, improving Standard Operating Procedures and driving initiatives aligned with Carlsberg Excellence standards.
  • Maintain a safe workplace by ensuring compliance with Health Safety, Security and Environment standards and fostering a culture of safety and well-being within the team

Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or supply chain operations (Fast Moving Consumer Goods / food & beverage would be an advantage)
  • Knowledge of food safety and quality standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP)
  • Demonstrated ability in team leadership, problem-solving, and operational decision-making
  • Willing to work on shift rotation
