Temporary Senior Analyst, Global Benefits (International) - Remote

Who You'll Work With


Slalom is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Analyst, Global Benefits to provide temporary support for benefit and leave of absence operations across the Americas and EMEA through the end of the year. This role will partner closely with the Global Benefits team, People Business Partners, Shared Services, Operations, Legal, Finance, and external vendors and insurers to help ensure benefit programs are competitive, compliant, scalable, and fiscally responsible.


The ideal candidate brings hands-on international benefits experience and operates comfortably in a matrixed, global organization. This is a senior individual contributor role that requires strong judgment, independence, and initiative. Beyond executing day-to-day operations, this role is expected to proactively identify risks, gaps, and opportunities to improve processes, automation, and overall operational effectiveness-leveraging Workday, operational data, and technology (including AI where appropriate) to improve outcomes and the employee experience.


This role is US-based and supports a global employee population.


What You'll Do


Global benefits operations & employee support


* Support the day-to-day administration of benefit and leave of absence programs across the Americas (US, Canada, Colombia, Mexico) and EMEA (UK, Germany, Ireland), including healthcare, disability, statutory and company leaves, and related benefit offerings.

* Provide advanced customer support and problem resolution for complex or escalated benefits issues, ensuring timely, accurate, and empathetic communication with employees and stakeholders.

* Partner closely with People Business Partners and internal stakeholders to ensure consistent, compliant, and well-coordinated benefits outcomes across regions.

Vendor, billing, and audit oversight


* Independently engage with and manage third-party administrators, insurers, and vendors to resolve issues, correct eligibility or billing discrepancies, and drive service improvements.

* Audit payroll and vendor eligibility files; reconcile vendor invoices and benefit deductions; investigate discrepancies and partner cross-functionally to ensure resolution.

* Support compliance activities and audits, ensuring adherence to country-specific requirements, contracts, and data privacy standards.

Workday leadership & process optimization


* Support and lead Workday benefits testing activities, including developing test scripts, executing test scenarios, validating results, and partnering on defect resolution.

* Identify recurring issues, control gaps, and manual processes; propose and implement improvements that increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.

* Identify opportunities to better leverage Workday functionality, automation, standardization, and reporting to improve global benefits operations.

* Utilize data, operational insights, and responsible AI-enabled tools where appropriate to streamline workflows, improve documentation, and enhance decision-making.

Continuous improvement & project support


* Act as a senior operational partner on global benefits projects and initiatives, including open enrollment, vendor changes, process redesign, and governance improvements.

* Support the development and maintenance of process documentation, SOPs, and knowledge resources to improve consistency and enable scale.

* Serve as a subject-matter resource within the Global Benefits team, sharing insights, best practices, and operational recommendations.
