Utilizes test tools, test methodology, best practices and standard quality assurance processes to deliver functional, deployable, supportable and maintainable products and services.<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p>JOB ROLE SUMMARY</p><ul><li>Documents, communicates and suggests remedies for disputed issues/defects using defined standards.</li><li>Works with cross functional teams in highly collaborative manner. </li><li>Utilizes test tools, test methodology, best practices and standard quality assurance processes to deliver functional, deployable, supportable and maintainable products and services.</li></ul><p></p><p>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p><ul><li>The Tester is expected to be fully functional and self-directed.</li><li>Involved in technical, development, or account related projects or processes that may be complex and/or critical to the company, organization, or unit.</li><li>Utilize his/her technical (area of) expertise on fairly complex, high-priority projects and/or processes; OR</li><li>Take the lead on a fairly complex piece of the project</li><li>Execute test cases/scripts and analyze outcomes</li><li>Perform testing and document the actual results and metrics</li><li>Perform all aspects of defect tracking</li><li>Create test data, if required</li><li>Develop test scripts, test conditions, test procedures and expected results for one or more test plans, including product, component, assembly, or performance tests.</li><li>Apply the Q&A process that validates fixes and ensures follow through to all test cycles</li><li>Inform Senior and/or Expert of any issues that may affect the schedule, budget, or quality of the product or the testing process</li><li>Work with the developers on where a defect was found and complete retesting of these defects</li><li>Communicates execution status to the Expert</li><li>Organize testing execution and results</li><li>Maintain information in appropriate testing tools</li><li>Develop technical skills further in order to accomplish scripting and automation to enable efficiencies</li><li>Develop leadership skills</li></ul><p></p><p>INDEPENDENT CONTRIBUTOR:</p><ul><li>Fully functional and self-directed. </li><li>Provides formal mentorship.</li><li>High complexity assignments- owner. Moderate complexity assignments - owner (1 or >).
