We are seeking a US-based Compliance Officer (Limited Scope) for an existing New Mexico LLC.
The company is legally registered in the United States, while the founding team is based internationally. Due to standard banking and payment processor compliance requirements, we require a US-based individual to support onboarding and verification processes with financial institutions.
This is a non-operational, compliance-focused role with minimal time commitment (approximately 1–2 hours per month). The position involves assisting with identity verification, signing required compliance documentation, and supporting banking or payment processor onboarding when needed.
The role is strictly limited to compliance and administrative purposes and does not involve day-to-day business operations or management responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Act as a US-based authorized officer for compliance purposes.
- Sign banking and payment processor onboarding documents when required.
- Complete identity verification (KYC/KYB) with financial institutions if needed.
- Support onboarding and periodic compliance verification requests from banks or payment processors.
- Execute limited corporate documentation related to account setup and maintenance.
Requirements
- US citizen or permanent resident.
