VIE Customer Material Management (d/f/m)

Definition of VIE
The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) program is an international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function. We are looking for highly motivated graduates aged 18 to 28 years, who are citizens of the European Union (all E.U. nationals, plus Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein).

Your location
At our Donauwörth site, located on the banks of the river Danube, we develop helicopters from the initial idea to the airworthy product. Watch them take off and touch down on our own on-site test airfield.

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Structure the Material Support for direct customers, service centers, customer centers and distributors within Europe

  • Define the governance of the organization, incl. customer allocation, meeting structure, travel plans, training plans and budgets

  • Propose communication plans and means. Secure the alignment by well-defined line to takes.

  • Define Roles and Responsibilities for key positions within the organization and main interfaces (CEFO)

  • Establish a project portfolio for Material Support & Logistics Europe

  • Plan and prepare meetings and workshops with end-customers and key stakeholders. Follow up action plans in the frame of key initiatives.

  • Establishment an interactive customer map and boost digitalization of the customer interface and logistics operations.

  • Secure follow-up of impact actions and sharing of best practices cross regions.

  • Follow up Customer Xperience Feedback Campaign tactical and strategic actions.

Desired skills and qualifications

  • Completed degree ( Bachelor or above) in logistics, engineering, business or a related discipline

  • First experience in project management or working in multifunctional teams

  • Results-oriented and well-organized, you enjoy animating teams and developing solutions and action plans

  • Proactive, goal oriented, well-organized and high level of autonomy

  • Strong service mindset and customer orientation

  • Strong interpersonal skills, good team player

  • Fluent in English, German is a plus
