Job Summary

Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a dynamic and visionary Virtual Social Media Engagement and Community Management Director to lead our digital presence and build strong, meaningful online communities across global social platforms. This remote leadership role focuses on driving engagement, nurturing brand loyalty, and ensuring consistent audience interaction across the APAC region. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute comprehensive social media engagement strategies to enhance brand presence and foster community growth across platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), TikTok, and YouTube.

  • Oversee community management teams to ensure prompt, thoughtful, and brand-aligned responses to customer inquiries, comments, and feedback.

  • Analyze engagement metrics and community sentiment to guide content strategies and audience outreach.

  • Collaborate with creative, marketing, and product teams to align engagement initiatives with brand objectives and campaign goals.

  • Develop influencer partnerships and ambassador programs to amplify reach and community trust.

  • Monitor social listening tools to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks for the brands reputation.

  • Manage crisis communications and ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels.

  • Plan and execute virtual events, live sessions, and campaigns tailored to APAC audiences.

  • Train, mentor, and inspire a global team of social media managers and moderators.

  • Prepare detailed monthly reports showcasing engagement growth, community insights, and performance KPIs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in social media management, community leadership, or digital engagement roles.

  • Expertise in audience analytics, social listening, and engagement optimization tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Brandwatch).

  • Strong understanding of APAC digital behavior, cultural nuances, and content trends.

  • Exceptional communication, storytelling, and leadership skills.

  • Ability to manage cross-functional teams and work effectively in a remote setup.

  • Proficiency in managing paid and organic community engagement strategies.

  • Crisis management and reputation handling experience is a strong plus.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in social media or community management roles.

Working Hours
